Web deletion-request process

Email H4Safe from your account address

Use the email address connected to your H4Safe account when possible. The request must include:

  • Subject: H4Safe Account Deletion Request
  • your full name;
  • the email address associated with the account;
  • your account role, if known; and
  • your community or organization only when needed to identify the correct account.

Do not send sensitive credentials or evidence. Never include your password, temporary password, authentication code, private key, evidence photo, or government identification in the initial request.

What happens next

  1. Request received. H4Safe reviews the email and identifies the account and associated role or community records.
  2. Identity verified. H4Safe may send a verification message to the email already associated with the account or ask for confirmation through an authorized account or organization contact. Additional verification is used only to prevent unauthorized deletion.
  3. Records reviewed. H4Safe identifies account data that can be deleted and any operational records that must remain for a documented reason.
  4. Deletion completed and confirmed. Eligible records are deleted or de-identified, access is ended, and H4Safe sends a confirmation. If anything is retained, the response will identify the category and reason.

No fixed processing period has been approved. H4Safe will provide status information during the verified request process rather than promise an unapproved completion date.

Information eligible for deletion

After successful verification and review, eligible information may include:

  • the Supabase authentication account and active account access;
  • profile and contact details, account preferences, role links, and eligible assignment links;
  • resident account information, vehicles, and guest registrations associated with the requesting user when they are not required as an operational record;
  • eligible files or content associated only with the requesting account; and
  • locally stored app information, which the user can separately remove by deleting the application or using available device and app controls.

Deletion means removal of the account, not temporary suspension, freezing, or deactivation.

Information that may be retained

H4Safe distinguishes user account data from operational records created for security and community workflows. Deleting an account does not necessarily delete records that are also part of a community's or H4Safe's operational history.

The application contains the following operational categories that may be retained when required for an authorized security or community purpose, evidence integrity, an audit or dispute, fraud prevention, a contractual requirement, or applicable law:

  • submitted patrol tours and archived patrol route traces;
  • parking tickets, license-plate and vehicle details, violations, evidence photos, and review history;
  • incident reports, incident evidence, alerts, and audit events;
  • community, property, access, and historical assignment records;
  • invoice, accounting, delivery, and transaction records; and
  • limited records documenting the deletion request and its verification.

The repository does not establish a universal retention period for these categories. If H4Safe retains information after an account-deletion request, the requester will be told which category is retained and why. Exact retention schedules require company and legal approval.

Web request versus in-app deletion

This page starts a manual web request. Clicking the email button does not immediately or automatically delete an account. The requester must send the message and complete identity verification.

A separate in-app account-deletion capability is planned for a later release step. This page does not claim that automatic in-app deletion is currently available. When the in-app process is released, this page will be updated to describe how the two methods work together.
